Request for the enactment of an integrated bill related to the 'Public Medical College Establishment Act, Regional Private Affairs Act' that also covers national universities in the 'Incheon' area, which is a medical vulnerable area

When establishing a plan to expand the number of medical schools and enacting related legislation, the policy of establishing public medical schools by region should be carried out in parallel

A National Assembly debate should be held so that the 22nd National Assembly can gather a stop to enact related integrated legislation

The pan-citizens' council, which was launched on April 12 last year, informed the government and local community that the establishment of a public medical clinic and expansion of public medical facilities should be realized as soon as possible in order to strengthen public medical care in Incheon, a medical vulnerable area. As a result, 114 institutions, organizations, and companies participated in the pan-citizens' council, and more than 220,000 citizens participated in the signature campaign.

The pan-citizens' council recently welcomed the Democratic Party of Korea's proposal of a bill to establish a public medical school and foster local doctors, and argued that the political community should enact an integrated bill that also covers national universities in the "Incheon" area, which is a medical vulnerable area. He explained that as individual bills are being proposed considering only local interests, it is urgent to discuss integrated bills that reflect the needs of medical vulnerable areas within the party.
